File sharing is the sharing of files from one user to another over a network. P2P File sharing is the sharing of files directly using a peer-to-peer software. P2P also applies in lending. As discussed in the article, "Peers Find Less Pressure Borrowing From Each Other", a company called Lending Club is a peer-to-peer lender that offers loans online for lower rates than banks. It operates like a marketplace in order to make the lending process more direct between investors and borrowers.
